Procedure

 

  1. From the QRentry application installed on your mobile device, in the QRentry menu bar, tap .

The Settings tab appears.

  1. Scroll down to the Configuration Server area.
  2. In the Add server area, enter the server address to which your computer is connected.
  3. Tap to add the server to the server list.

Your mobile device is now connected to the network.

  1. Slide the Automatically trust secure servers toggle to the right so that QRentry never prompts you to accept a certificate for a (newly added) server.
  2. Slide a server to the left and tap to delete it.

 

Managing audit events

QRentry generates audit events for the following operations:

  • Personal Note: creation, modification, deletion.
  • Account: collect, modification.
  • Application: launch with SSO.

Audit events are sent to an EAM Controller and stored in the mobile device.

NOTE: Generated events that have not been sent to an EAM Controller yet remain in the mobile device and do not appear in the list.

In QRentry, these events are displayed in chronological order, from the oldest to the newest event.

When an event describes an operation that failed, a red exclamation mark is added to the event description. User can then select this event to view the operation error message.

You can only view or clear these events. Clearing audit events from the device does not delete the events, they are still audited and sent to the EAM console.

  1. From the QRentry application installed on your mobile device, in the upper right corner of the screen, tap then tap Settings.

The Interface Settings tabbed panel appears.

  1. Tap the Other Settings tab.
  2. Tap Display user’s audit events.

The list of events audited on the mobile device appears.

  1. You can clear:
  • One event by tapping next to the event you want to clear.
  • All the events by tapping in the top menu bar.

  2. Tap Audit Events.

The list of events audited on the mobile device appears.

  1. You can clear:
  • One event by sliding an event to the left and tapping .
  • All the events by tapping .
