The QRentry application is installed on your mobile device. For more information, see Installing QRentry on your mobile device.

NOTE: The following procedure has been executed with an Android mobile device. The steps are exactly the same for iOS mobile devices.

When the enrollment wizard starts automatically, the I don’t want to enroll [...] again check box is available. Select it and click Finish to disable the automatic start of the enrollment wizard.

  1. Enter a name for your mobile device.
  2. Click Next.

  1. From your mobile device, start the QRentry application.
  2. Tap Scan and scan the displayed QR code with your mobile device.
  3. Click Next.

  • Repeat the previous step.
    • An enrollment code appears on your mobile device.

  1. Enter the code displayed on your mobile device.
  2. Click Next.

  • Your mobile device is enrolled. Click Finish.

NOTE: When your mobile device is enrolled, you are ready to:

  • Log on for emergency or normal access on your computer. But you can also use it to log on to other computers (if allowed by the security policy defined by your EAM administrator). To log on for emergency access, you must have logged on at least once with the network.
  • Access computers remotely.
  • Manage notes.
  • Access Web applications.
