Accessing Web applications

Depending on the configuration defined by the EAM administrator, you might have to enter a PIN or place your finger on the biometric device to start QRentry.
Before starting
- QRentry is installed on your mobile device.
- Your mobile device is enrolled.
Procedure
- From your mobile device, start the QRentry application and:
- Tap an application tile to start the corresponding application.
OR
- (Android only) Long-tap an application and tap
.
- If the application is a:
- Web application, the latter is launched in the Web browser embedded in QRentry.
- Store application (Android only), the latter opens.
- If you have to enter a password and that it is a password of type: bad password, new password or bad new password, QRentry will ask you to provide a valid password. For more information, see Password management window hereunder.

Password management window
If you enter a bad password, new password or bad new password, QRentry will ask you to provide a valid password with the following windows:

The password must be valid, i.e. it must comply with the Password format control policy (PFCP): number or required characters, type of authorized characters etc. To help you generate your password, QRentry offers to define your password for you with the
(Android) and Generate (iOS) buttons.

IMPORTANT: The password of delegated accounts can neither be revealed nor copied. |
Revealing application passwords with Android mobile devices
Procedure
- From your mobile device, start the QRentry application and long-tap an application tile.
- The following menu appears:
- Tap
to display the login and password of the application.
- You can copy the login or password by tapping Copy login or Copy password.

Procedure
- From your mobile device, start the QRentry application, select the Applications tab and double-tap an application tile.
- The following menu appears:
- Tap View to display the login and password of the application.

- From your mobile device, start the QRentry application and long-tap an application tile.
- Tap
to display the properties of the application.
- Modify the login and/or password and tap Done.

- From your mobile device, start the QRentry application, select the Applications tab and double-tap an application tile.
- Tap Modify to display the properties of the application.
- Modify the login and/or password and tap Done.

Enabling access to personal applications
Subject
You can access personal applications created with the ESSO Personal Studio through QRentry.

NOTE: QRentry displays one tile per application. If several accounts are available for one application, then QRentry displays one tile per account for one application. |
The following schema shows the main steps to enable personal application access with QRentry.
Restriction
You can configure personal applications for QRentry only for Internet Explorer.
Before starting
Creating an application for QRentry from ESSO Personal Studio
- Right-click an application and select Properties.
- Select the Application Profile tab.
- Select the This application is available on QRentry check box.
- To set a logo, click Set logo, otherwise, go to step 6.
- Browse and select a logo.

IMPORTANT: The logo must be <30ko and in PNG format. |
- Click OK.
