Mailbox object attributes

Single-valued, string

Moves mailbox to the Exchange Server database whose name is specified in this attribute.

Gets the unique identifier for a specified object in Exchange Server.

Gets or sets a mailbox type.

When you create a mailbox object, this attribute supports the following values:

  • DiscoveryMailbox
  • EquipmentMailbox
  • RoomMailbox
  • SharedMailbox
  • UserMailbox

When you update a mailbox object, this attribute supports the following values:

  • EquipmentMailbox
  • RoomMailbox
  • SharedMailbox
  • UserMailbox

When you read data of a mailbox object, this attribute supports the following values:

  • DiscoveryMailbox
  • EquipmentMailbox
  • LegacyMailbox
  • LinkedMailbox
  • RoomMailbox
  • SharedMailbox
  • UserMailbox

Read, Write

Other attributes provided for the Mailbox object have the same names and descriptions as parameters or return types of the Exchange Management Shell cmdlets listed in the next table. Also, some attributes may perform actions by calling certain Exchange Management Shell cmdlets, as noted in the table.
