About One Identity Quick Connect for AS/400® version 1.4

With the One Identity Quick Connect for AS/400® you can synchronize data between an AS/400 system and other data systems to which Quick Connect Sync Engine is connected.

One Identity Quick Connect for AS/400 is distributed as an option of Quick Connect Sync Engine.

NOTE: One Identity Quick Connect for AS/400 cannot be re-installed if a previous version has not been removed, using Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel. After installation, this version will show as Version 1.4 in the Add/Remove Programs list (and as 1.3 in the About box of the Quick Connect Admin Console), and the .dll files in <Your Program Files folder>\One Identity\Quick Connect\AS400Connector\ will have the latest modification date.

Quick Connect for AS/400 version 1.4 is a minor release. Quick Connect for AS/400 version 1.4 has been rebranded for One Identity LLC.

Issue ID

The LDAP implementation for AS/400 defines a limit of 500 search results (by default). If your AS/400 LDAP server has more than 500 records (e.g. users or groups) in the database you should increase the 'sizelimit' value in the slapd.conf file on your AS/400 as required.

If you try to synchronize a blank/empty Active Directory attribute, it may cause 'server not willing to perform' error on the AS/400. This LDAP error will be displayed by the AS/400 connector.

Length of user and group names

There is a limit of 10 characters for profile names (i.e. groups and users) on the AS/400 (attribute os400-profile).
