Previously, attempting to add or delete a Slack workspace ID from the Channels list might result in the following error message appearing and the add/remove action not being completed:

There was a problem contacting the One Identity Starling server. You may need to refresh your page (press F5).

This issue was caused by the retention of deleted secrets in the Azure Key Vault and could occur if Starling Cloud Assistant has attempted to create a secret with the same name as the original (not yet purged) secret.

The issue was solved by making sure that:

  • Deleted secrets are purged before an attempt is made to re-create them.

  • Existing secrets are automatically deleted and purged.
