Is it possible to configure the initial timeout when connecting to a a Windows target via PSM session.
User connects to the PSM session and is presented with the initial login screen, Username/Password. User does not input credentials or move the mouse for 30 seconds and then the PSM session is closed and they see a little VNC Config in top left corner of the PSM window.
User takes a PSM session, the process goes through and the VNC connection is made to target, the login prompt on the target system is displayed. If no action is taken, the screen goes grey and you get the little VNC Config in top left.
This is a Windows setting that the RDP session timesout after 30 seconds of inactivity.
This is a Windows setting that needs to be adjusted to increase the timeout of RDP sessions. Review the Microsoft article - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/cc754272.aspx
The key that needs to be changed is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp
