What languages/locales are supported when using Linux/Unix platforms for Password Management? When using the following platforms, what OS language does TPAM support?
AIX, FreeBSD, HP-UX, Linux, SCO, Solaris, or Tru64
On a Linux/Unix system you see a timeout error after the passwd command has been set, when doing a "Reset Password".
Example from a Spanish System[MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS] debug1: Sending command: passwd managed_acct[MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS] Nueva contrase├▒a: A timeout occurred waiting for a response from the system[MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS] An error occurred changing the password for managed_acct on 1.1.1.1

Cause
TPAM expects *password: prompt for the password prompt, other non-english prompts are not supported. -

Configure the functional account to use a LANG / LOCALE of en_US or C -
