Description

DPA vulnerability scan shows "SSL Certificate Cannot Be Trusted" or "the server's X.509 certificate can not be trusted."
Resolution

This is not a vulnerability.
HTTPS on the DPAs is used only by the TPAM consoles for management tasks, via secure web services using mutual certificate authentication. End user workstations do not communicate with the DPA over HTTPS.
As the scanner doesn't have the CA cert installed it will see the connection as untrusted.
