The *column* for "Auto-Password Mgmt" is required in the input file for "Import Accounts" as per the documentation. If this column does not exist in the input file, the "Import Accounts" will fail with an appropriate error: "ERROR: One or more required columns missing from Import File. Missing column: Auto-Password Mgmt"
The column marked 'required' must be present, but it is not required for every row within that column to have a value entered. This field "Auto-Password Mgmt" has a default action if rows have this field left blank.
If the value is blank on a particular row in this "Auto-Password Mgmt" column, this will still move ahead with the import using the default from the TPAM System the account belongs to. This is detailed in the 'Description" line for the line "Auto-Password Mgmt where it states: "Y for yes (Automatic), N for no, M for Manual Password Management (defaults to the System setting or N if the platform does not support auto)"
Note the last portion "defaults to the System settings or N if the platform does not support auto"
