What do we need to change on our systems so they are just PSM licenses only and not PPM?

What you need to do is go to the system details and check the following box:
Disable all PPM functions and delete any existing password history or secure stored files?

Please make sure to make note of any managed passwords before making this change. This will clear out any stored information. Change the account management to none first and then retrieve the password to ensure the password does not change before disabling PPM has occured.
