Java Security Warning occurs on every PSM session "Allow access to the following application from the web site?" -
Description
When attemping a PSM session the below Java popup appears on every PSM attempt, even if the "Do not show this again for this app and web site" option has previously been ticked.
"Allow access to the following application from the web site?Application: SSH VNC AppletThis web site is requesting access and control of the Java application shown above. Allow access only if you trust the web site and know that the application is intended to run on this site. -
Cause
This is a Java defect unrelated to TPAM, that only occurs when the FQDN/hostname of a site starts with a t. For example, if the site is https://tpam the "Do not show this again for this app and web site" setting does not work. When using a IP address or a FQDN/hostname that does not start with t the issue does not occur.This issues appears from Java 7U55 -
Resolution
Issue resolved in Java 7u80 and Java 8u40.
