How to verify the Network Time Protocol (NTP) is configured correctly.
If the NTP or date/time of the HA pair is not configured correctly, the alert logs may report the following error:
"An error occurred in the EGP High-Availability replication. The error text is: The Primary EGP server on "IP Address" is not responding. Please check your primary device!"
The appliance does not log NTP synchronization events.
To verify whether this configured correctly, access "NTP config" from the /paradmin (version 2.4 and earlier) or /admin (version 2.5) interface and check the time display of the appliance against the NTP server's time display:

To set the time manually::
System Status | Date Time Configuration | System Date
The current date time can also be verified from the status page:
