What is a Diagnostic Patch, and how do I apply it to the TPAM and send back the results?
A Diagnostic Patch is a patch that is applied to the TPAM to help with finding the cause of a problem.
1. Support will send the patch to the customer; it is often called Diag_(something).zip
2. Install the patch in the usual way
3. Get a complete Patch Log by following the steps in SOL73501 choosing "Export Log to CSV"
4. Send the following two things back to Support, either as attachments to an email or by attaching them to the case in SupportLink
a) the exportpatchlog.csv file created in step 3 AND
b) the original Diagnostic Patch file
The Diagnostic Patch file saves installation data to itself when it is installed, so it is necessary to send the Diag_(something).zip file back to Support after it is applied.
