When managing a password on a Windows domain, the error "Error: (0X8007203A) The server is not operational." is returned.
When performing the 'Test System' for this system, a similar warning is returned and the 'Test System' fails.
The error is indicating that TPAM may not be able to reach the managed system using the current information in the "network address" field for this server.
Review the configuration of the TPAM managed System 'Network Address' field.
-If this in an IP, is the IP correct?
-Is the server operational?
-Can TPAM ping this IP?
-Is a firewall (network or local on the server) blocking traffic?
-If this is a DNS name, is TPAM able to resolve the name to the correct IP?
The '/tpam' interface has test for 'ping' and 'nslookup' under the "Management | Network Tools" section that will be helpful in reviewing the above.
Review the configuration and adjust to ensure that the 'Test System' is successful. Once the 'Test System' is successful, the error should be resolved.
