What Java version and settings should be used with TPAM 2.5.910 and above when using PSM Sessions?
You may also observe the following error messages launching PSM when the required java version is not installed:
"Error Message 'Object Error'"
"SSHVnc is stuck at loading." -
Resolution
When using PSM with TPAM 2.5.910, ensure that users are running Java Version 7 Update 45 32-bit (or above) on their workstations. Check "Programs and Features" to ensure that previous versions of Java have been uninstalled.
For TPAM 2.5.920, this has been revised to require Java 8 or higher.
Java "Security Level" slider should be set to High with "Mixed Code" and security verification set to "Enabled - show warning if required", as in the screenshots below.
If Java Version 7 Update 51 or above is in use, the "Security Level" slider can be set to "Very High".
