TPAM does not currently support management of database tools directly.
An enhancement request BFER3569 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of TPAM/Privileged Session Manager.
WORKAROUND
It is still possible to record the sessions requested by approved users via the Privileged Session Manager.
Administrative knowledge of TPAM and Privileged Session Manager are assumed to configure the following.
1. Add a managed "Windows" or "Windows Desktop" System.
2. Install the database management tool on the managed desktop.
3. Add managed accounts.
4. Provision the managed accounts and define the access policies for users.
5. When an approved user, requests a session to this managed desktop, they can use the database management tool and the session can be recorded by Privileged Session Manager.
Examples of database management tools
1. TOAD
2. SQL Developer
3. SQL Management Studio.
4. SQL Plus Client.
