"Test Event Capture" on a Windows platform errors: "Access is denied for functional account". (4303538)

When running the "Test Event Capture", it returns "Access is denied for functional account"

Testing event capture on system Test_System (192.168.1.100) through DPA TEST_DPA (192.168.1.5) 
Task exited with return code 255. 
Testing WMI connectivity to 192.168.1.100 using test_account 
org.jinterop.dcom.core.JIComServer.initialise: Got the class not registered exception , will attempt setting entries based on status flags... 
Access is denied for functional account. 
Please perform Test System to validate connectivity and functional account credentials. 
WMI test failed. 
com.dcom.exception.DCOMException: org.jinterop.dcom.common.JIException: Access is denied, please check whether the [domain-username-password] are correct. Also, if not already done please check the GETTING STARTED and FAQ sections in readme.htm. They provide information on how to correctly configure the Windows machine for DCOM access, so as to avoid such exceptions. [0x00000005]

Please review the TPAM 2.5 Administration Guide.  The section "Give Functional Account Full Permissions to Key" has the required steps to adjust the permissions on this key.

Give Functional Account Full Permissions to Key

In order to perform the change, you have do the following for the above key:

1. Execute regedit in order to start the registry editor
2. Select the key (using the search helps)
3. Right-click the key and select "Permissions..."
4. Currently only the owner is allowed to change the permissions and
   currently this owner is the TrustedInstaller user. Therefore we have
   to change the ownership first. In order to do so, click Advanced.
5. Click the Owner tab.(in some releases this is not a tab, so find the
   mechanism used to change the owner)
6. Select Administrators
7. Click OK
8. In order to make the ownership change effective, you have to commit the changes by clicking on OK first and then reopening the Permissions dialog
9. In the reopened Permissions dialog, add or select the user or group you want to access the system under and select the check box for allowing Full Control.
10. Click OK
11. Right-click the key a third time and select Permissions ...
12. Click Advanced
13. Select the Owner tab. (In some releases this is not a tab, so find the mechanism used to change the owner)
14. Enter the following username (you can't select it from any list) NT Service\TrustedInstaller.
15. Click OK as necessary to exit

After the first session is started, and j-Interop has created these registry
entries, it is safe to reset the permissions back to original values.
