Intermittent communication issues with Managed Domain System -
Description
Managed System created in PPM for managing AD domain accounts has an intermittent issue with unexplained password change failures

Cause
If the network address of your AD System is set to the domain name "domain.com" rather than the FQDN of a particular DC, "dc01.domain.com", then TPAM will attempt to contact any available domain controller. If there are network issues which prevent TPAM from contact particular DCs, this could be the cause of the intermittent failure. -
Resolution
Try changing the network address to one particular domain controller to see if the results are more consistent. If you have a large envrionment that requires the use of multiple domain controllers for load balancing, then you will need to perform network communication test between TPAM and each DC, to determine if there are any problems.
