Which models or types of Cisco appliances are supported for management by TPAM? -
Resolution
The built in Cisco platform in TPAM supports the management of user passwords through Cisco IOS version 12.4 and possibly through IOS 15 provided the configuration supports the following syntax:
Username <password> <passwordmode> <newpassword>, where <passwordmode> is either secret or password.
Any Cisco device that does not support this format would not be supported by the default platform, but could potentially be supported by creating a Custom Platform.
