Description
The TPAM console appliances do not respond to a ping packets Does TPAM drop ICMP traffic? We are unable to ping the appliances.

Resolution
TPAM appliances cannot be pinged and will drop all ICMP traffic.
The status page is also a useful way to confirm the appliances are online, using the IP of the appliance, e.g.: https://ip_address/status. More information available here -
Additional Information
For 2.5 appliances, the Network Tools are available via the '/tpam' "Management | Network Tools" and also via "https://ip_of_appliance:8443/config" via the "Net Tools" menu.
