One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Passwords security fix released in version 6.13.1 and 6.0.13 LTS

A security vulnerability was discovered in one of the authentication components that may be used when logging in to Safeguard for Privileged Passwords. This could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the system.
How does this affect me?
We recommend that all customers of Safeguard for Privileged Passwords upgrade to the latest available version, either 6.13.1 or 6.0.13 LTS which includes the security fix.

Resolution
A security fix has been released for Safeguard for Privileged Passwords in version 6.13.1 and 6.0.13 LTS.
- For SPP Feature release, please upgrade to version 6.13.1 using the steps here
- For SPP LTS release, please upgrade to version 6.0.13 LTS using the steps here
Note: For SPP cluster that is joined to an SPS cluster, please upgrade the SPS cluster to have a matching version as the SPP cluster. The issue reported in this KB does not apply to SPS, however, upgrading SPS nodes to a matching version of SPP nodes is required for compatibility.
