About this release

Password Manager 5.13.3 is a patch release with new features and functionality.

New features

CAUTION: Password Manager does not provide feature parity between the legacy PMUser and new PMSelfService sites for self-service related activities. All new feature developments are only done for the new PMSelfService site.

Password Manager 5.13.3 contains the following new features:

  • Authenticating with Q&A Profile (User-selected questions): Added a new activity for authentication known as Authenticate with Q&A Profile (User-selected questions). During authentication, from the available set of questions from their Q&A profile, users can select the questions they wish to answer. Administrators can configure the type and number of questions that are available to answer.

  • FIDO2 support for 2FA authentication: You can now use the FIDO2 authentication method as a two-factor authentication (2FA) method in Secure Token Server features. Users can pair a FIDO2 key to their profile during the first authentication with this method.

  • Defining custom phone number mask: Administrators can define a phone number masking rule with a regular expression, which will be applied on Self-Service Site site phone numbers, where masking is required.

  • Internal feedback option: You can now define feedback links and labels in the Administration Site, Helpdesk Site and Self-Service Site as well. At the same time, the former feedback feature to One Identity has been moved from the Self-Service Site to the Administration Site.

  • Associating hostnames for Secure Token Server with IPv4 ranges: Added an IP range-based hostname resolution feature that allows administrators to:

    • Define specific IPv4 ranges using IP addresses and subnet masks.

    • Associate hostnames with the defined IPv4 ranges when using Secure Token Server features.

Extended the Authenticate via Passcode activity in Authentication Methods with the User can generate passcode option.

When enabled, users are not required to have a helpdesk-issued passcode: instead, they can request a code to their registered personal email address or phone number.

Previously, the Administration Site and the Helpdesk Site logged out users after 10 minutes regardless of user interactions. To improve user experience:

  • These sites now use sliding expiration for sessions to prevent unintentional logouts.

  • Interacting with these sites now extend the timer by 5 minutes.

419913

Added a new condition to the Invite Users to Create/Update Profiles > Notify users who meet the following condition page, allowing administrators to specify days for the User's Q&A profile is older than the specified value setting.

This means that if the Invitation to Create/Update Profile scheduled task starts running, then users who have updated their Q&A profile earlier than the specified days in this setting will be notified.
