Does the Active Roles Synchronization Service have High Availability? Is it possible to schedule a Workflow so that any on-line Active Roles Synchronization Service node will run it? -
Cause
No. Scheduled Workflows within the Active Roles Synchronization Service are linked to a single Active Roles Synchronization Service node only.

Resolution
WORKAROUND 1
If the Active Roles Synchronization Service node which is scheduled to run a particular Workflow is offline, the schedule can be modified manually and a different Active Roles Synchronization Service node can be specified.
WORKAROUND 2
Once a Workflow has been configured, a copy of that Workflow can be created which has a different schedule and which runs against a different Active Roles Synchronization Service node.
STATUS
Enhancement Request 90810 has been created for consideration in a future release of Active Roles.
