When attempting to configure the Azure component in Active Roles using the Azure AD Configuration module in the Active Roles Configuration Center, the following error is observed:
Could not create Application in Azure. Bad Request: Another object with the same value for property identifierUris already exists.
When configuring the Azure component in Active Roles, an Azure Application named ActiveRoles is created with the Application ID URI http://ActiveRoles.
If an Azure Application using this URI currently exists, the configuration fails.
Access the Azure Active Directory portal for the Azure tenant and navigate to App Registrations. Locate the Application with the Application ID URI: http://ActiveRoles, and perform one of the following actions:
Resolution 1: Rename Application ID URI by clicking on the hyperlink, and entering a new name
Resolution 2: Delete the Azure Application containing the http://ActiveRoles Application ID URI
