Description
When using the Synchronization Service CSV Connector the option for "Attribute is multi-valued" checkbox is ignored in the schema settings.
Configure the CSV connection to use semicolon as the CSV delimiter and a comma as the value delimiter in the Advanced options.
Example:
username;firstname;lastname;description;infotestuser123;Test;User;This is a test;"User,Test" -
Cause
This issue has been identified as a product Defect ID#: 304970. The schema option Attribute is multi-valued should be honored and when unchecked, the delimited text value should be treated as single-valued. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Configure the value delimiter to another character such as a question mark or pound symbol in order to cause the comma to be ignored and the whole value to be treated as a single value of text under the Advanced options in the Value delimiter: field.
STATUS:
Waiting for a resolution in a future release of Active Roles.
