Description
You may want to add a button to the home page of the Web Interface to some custom static content.
Resolution
Use the following steps to add a button on the Web Interface home page:
Place your static HTML file in the web interface directory. Ex. C:\Program Files\Dell\Active Roles\7.0\Web\Public
Log into the web interface site as an Administrator.
On the Home Page, click the Customize link in the top-right of the page.
Click the Add... button.
Provide a name for the button.
Enter the static filename without any slashes. Ex. support.html
In the Text to display, provide a short description of the functionality of the page you're linking to.
By default, the page will open in a frame inside the Web Interface. If you would like to open the link in a new Tab/Window, click Advanced properties to expand it and uncheck Open the URL in a frame.
