In the Web Interface the "msExchDynamicDLBaseDN" field on the general properties of an Exchange Dynamic Distribution Group only displays the top-level OU and not the full distinguished name. This can cause confusion if the directory structure consists of multiple OU's with the same name.
Example:
All three of the above examples will only show as "Users".
Workaround:
Now the entry type is of type "Auto" rather than "Custom".
Viewing an Exchange Dynamic Distribution Group should now show the OU and then path in brackets next to it. If the path is too long to make an assessment of the location, you can click the Properties button below the OU and it will open the OU in a new tab or window, allowing you to confirm which OU it is without losing your position.
