Disable automatic Home Folder creation and validation (4259028)

In some environments it may be desirable to set a home folder location for a user, and not perform the default actions of creating or validating the folder path. When attempted, the following error may be observed:

Failed to modify the object ''

Administrative Policy returned an error. ActiveRoles Server failed to create the Home Folder "" The network path was not found.

To disable automatic home folder creation and validation, make the policy changes noted below:

1. Navigate to Configuration | Policies | Administration | Builtin
2. Locate the policy Built-in Policy - Default Rules to Provision Home Folders
3. Open the Properties of the policy and select the Policies tab
4. Click on the Policy listed and select View/Edit...
5. Uncheck the box Create or rename home folder on file server as needed
