Set- Cmdlets are unable to update the objectClass attribute -
Description
When performing a Set- command using Active Roles QAD cmdlets and attempting to update the objectClass attribute, the command appears to execute without issue or error.
Upon further investigation, it is revealed that the objectClass attribute was not actually updated.
Examples of affected operations:
- Set-QADUser -Identity username -ObjectAttributes @{objectClass=@{Append=@("posixGroup")}}
- Set-QADObject -Identity username -ObjectAttributes @{objectClass=@{Delete=@("posixGroup")}}

Cause
This issue has been identified as a Product Defect and assigned the Defect ID 273359. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
No workaround currently when utilizing Active Roles QAD cmdlets.
STATUS
Waiting for fix in a future release of Active Roles.
