Accidentally deleting a Group Family, and then restoring it from the Recycle Bin will cause it to stop working. No groups get created, nor does the management of the existing group membership gets performed (blank Action Summary).
This is by design, deleting the Group Family will break functionality. All Data Base links need to be restored.
An enhancement request TF00701236 has been created detailing the feature with the ability to restore a Group Family in the occurrence of a failure.
