To change the hide from mailbox address list attribute for users that do not have a local Microsoft Exchange mailbox during deprovisioning follow the steps below:
Note: A new policy can be created by right clicking the Built-in Policy - User Default Deprovisioning policy and selecting Copy. Name this policy appropriately, and remember to set the scope of this policy at the Active Directory level as Include Explicitly.
1) Right click the deprovisioning policy and select Properties
2) Select the Policies tab at the top
3) Under the Policy Description select the Makes account ineligible for logon
4) Select View/Edit... button at the bottom
5) Select the Properties to Be Updated tab
6) Select the Add... button at the bottom of this window
7) Select the Show all possible properties option at the bottom of this window
8) In the Look for property field type msexchhidefromaddresslists
9) Select the check box to the left of this option
10) Select OK at the bottom of this window
11) Set the value for msExchHideFromAddressLists must be to TRUE
12) Select OK
