How to identify the Active Roles Web Interface server a user is connecting to in a multi-server environment (4314054)

In a multi-server environment it may be necessary to identify what Active Roles Web Interface server the user is connecting to when using the Administration, HelpDesk, or SelfService websites.

SOLUTION

To determine the server that the user is logging into follow the below steps on the default Web Interface sites as follows:

• Administration (ARWebAdmin)
• HelpDesk (ARWebHelpDesk)
• SelfService (ARSelfService)

1. Log into one of the Active Roles Web Interface sites above
2. Select the Active Roles 7.X.X menu drop down at the top right side of the screen (older versions have a cog wheel)
3. Select About Active Roles option from the menu
4. Select the Technical Information tab
5. Note the Current user is the user profile
6. Administration Service is the Web Server the user is connected to for the session
