Description
Restricted MMC Interface Access allows connections from previous MMC client versions. -
Cause
As of Active Roles Server 7.4.1 the MMC Interface Access can be restricted to specific users/groups when connecting with the MMC Administration Console. Versions of the MMC Administration Service that are below the version specifically used for the Active Roles Server are able to connect, and they will have any permissions that have been delegated. -
Resolution
Upgrade the MMC Administration console on every client machine in order to enforce the MMC Interface Access for user access to be restricted. This will prevent the users from gaining access to the MMC Administration console, and they will be stopped by the policy error.
