Claim Types Are Visible To Users In The MMC In Any Mode Except Basic -
Description
When a User logs into the Active Roles MMC Console they can see Claim Types listed under Active Directory in all View Modes except for Basic. Assigning a Access Template to block access still doesn't remove it from view. -
Resolution
This is a known issue and the following Defect ID as been created to possibly resolve the issue in the future:
TF00218197 - Claim Types should hide in non-basic mode.
Workaround – Create a Access Template that denies list contents and assign to User. Users will be able to see claim types, but won't be able to edit them.
