Error: "The Administration Service cannot start because of a database conflict"
Description

When attempting to reinstall ActiveRoles Server the following error is displayed:
Critical error occurred upon start of ActiveRoles Server Administration Service.
Details: The Administration Service cannot start because of a database conflict. Ensure that your ActiveRoles Server deployment meets the following requirement:
All Administration Services that use a common Configuration Database must use a common Management History Database
Cause

The configuration database has the incorrect management history database listed
Resolution

WORKAROUND
1. Backup the ActiveRoles Server database
2. Open SQL Server Management Studio and navigate to the configuration database
3. Expand and find the table ARServices
4. Open the ARServices table and scroll to the column edsaMHDatabaseName
5. Confirm that the correct SQL server and database is listed
6. If the incorrect SQL server or database is listed, replace it with the proper SQL server/database
7. Install ActiveRoles Server
