The Active Roles Configuration Center shows the administration service status as getting ready -
Description
When opening the Active Roles Configuration Center and clicking on the Administration Service tab the service does not show as being started or stopped. The status is shown as getting ready.
Other symptoms include:
The Active Roles Console will only connect using localhost instead of the hostname, or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)
The Active Roles Configuration Center will produce an error saying the Active Roles Administration Service cannot be found when attempting to create a new site under the Web Interface tab.

Cause
There is a Domain Name Server (DNS) issue with the FQDN for the Active Roles host. -
Resolution
Open command prompt and attempt to ping the FQDN. If this returns an error please check the DNS server for issues.
