MMC Console does not allow logon when specifying "Current User", but works when choosing "The following user:" with same credentials (4335608)

When attempting to logon to the Active Roles MMC, the default option of using the Current User credentials does not allow a successful logon and throws error No Administration Services found. To establish a connection, on the Action menu, click Connect.

However, if we choose Action | Connect, specify The following user: and enter the same credentials as the account currently logged in, then the connection is successful.

The Current User option ties into the cached credentials in the Windows credential session, and The following user: option does a live query against a Domain Controller.

Group memberships have changed for this account recently, and the cached Windows credential session has not been updated with the new information.
