Attempting to connect to Active Roles in the Active Roles Management Shell fails with the error: Class not registered. (4336737)

When attempting to execute the below cmdlet in the Active Roles Management Shell:

Connect-QADService -proxy

The connection fails with the error message:

Class not registered.

The Active Roles Management Shell was installed with the standalone MSI file which is included with the Active Roles installation media, and not all necessary components are installed.

Enhancement Request 254970 has been created so that the Active Roles Management Shell checks to ensure that the ADSI Provider is present and throws a clear error message if it is not.

Ensure that the necessary version of .NET and the Active Roles ADSI Provider are also installed along with the Active Roles Management Shell.

Installing the Active Roles Management Shell using ActiveRoles.exe from the Active Roles installation media will also ensure that the necessary components are installed.
