Attempting to process an Approval fails with the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when the Approver is a group
Description

When attempting to process an Approval where the Approver is configured as a group and where there is a Request for information in the Approval, attempting to process the Approval in the Active Roles Web Interface fails with the error:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Cause

This issue is an Active Roles defect and is being tracked as Defect ID 394327.
Resolution

WORKAROUND

Specify one or more Users as an Approver and do not specify a group.

STATUS

This issue has been resolved in Active Roles LTS 8.0.1 and Active Roles 8.1.1
