Description
Active Roles is failing to authenticate when using MSOnline within a script and trying to connect and the following error may be experienced.
"Could not load type 'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.JwtSecurityToken' from assembly 'System.IdentityModel.Tokens.Jwt, Version=6.22.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'" -
Cause
MSOnline module is no longer supported in Active Roles since version 7.4.4 due to not using Modern Authentication. -
Resolution
Update all the scripts to use a supported module such as Microsoft Graph.
