Cause
Either .NET Framework or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable are corrupted on the server. -
Resolution
Reinstall or repair the .NET Framework or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

Active Roles Administration Service relies on Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and requires this component to be installed first. In order to reinstall it, download from Microsoft or use the version available and located in the Redistributable folder of Active Roles installation media.
