Unable to link any policies to Azure containers or objects directly in Active Roles 8.2 -
Description
In Active Roles 8.2, in the Active Roles Console, it is not possible to link any policy to any Azure object or container. The pane where it should be possible to view Azure object and containers is simply blank:
In previous versions of Active Roles, objects are returned, but none of the returned objects are containers.

Cause
This issue is being tracked as Defect ID 465796 -
Resolution
WORKAROUND 1
Modify the Built-in Policy Configuration/Policies/Administration/Builtin/Built-in Policy - Azure Cloudonly - Default Rules to Generate Properties to include additional rules as desired. This policy is already linked to the Azure Configuration out-of-the-box.
WORKAROUND 2
In Active Roles 8.1.3 and later: create a Managed Unit that runs a query and gathers Azure objects. Then, scope the desired policy to the Managed Unit. It will be enforced on all objects within the Managed Unit.
