Connect-QCService : Communication error (probably Synchronization Service is unavailable) -
Description
When executing Connect-QCService -ServerName "MyQCServer.MyDomain.com" -ConnectionAccount "MyDomain\Administrator" -ConnectionPassword $pwd in the Syncrhonization Management Shell, the following error is returned.
"Connect-QCService : Communication error (probably Synchronization Service is unavailable).The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state."

Cause
This issue has been identified as a product defect and the following defect id #492272 has been assigned to our Active Roles Product team for consideration of inclusion within a future release of Active Roles.

Resolution
WORKAROUND
Connect to the target server with the user and open Management Shell under the user context.
STATUS
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Active Roles.
