How to retain Logos when importing a Web Interface (4226828)

Through the Configuration Center, Active Roles provides the ability to Export and Import a Web Interface configuration. 

This process does not include any custom Logos in the package. This is expected behavior.

STATUS

Custom Logos and icons are stored in the Active Roles CustomImages folder on the Web Interface server, located here:

C:\Program Files\One Identity\Active Roles\7.x\Web\Public\CustomImages

The filenames are randomly generated.

WORKAROUND

To retain the Logos, copy all images from this folder on the source Web Interface into the target Web Interface server.

The overall Export/Import process is:

1. On the source Web Interface server, run the Configuration Center and Export the desired Web Interface

2. Copy the images from C:\Program Files\One Identity\Active Roles\7.x\Web\Public\CustomImages on the source Web Interface server

3. Paste the images into the target Web Interface server: C:\Program Files\One Identity\Active Roles\7.4\Web\Public\CustomImages

4. On the target Web Interface server, import the Configuration

5. Perform an IISReset on the target Web Interface server

6. On the imported site, if the logos do not appear, select Customization | Reload and the Logos should appear. Another IISReset may be required
