Error: “Unable to cast object of type 'System.Byte[]' to type 'System.IComparable'.”

How to reproduce this issue:

Update an entity and to generate a provisioning job. To run into this error, you need to have a DPRProjectionObjectState for that provisioning workflow in OneIM.

Error received:

[1777018] Error running synchronization project (LDAP Domain (domainname))'s workflow (Provisioning).
