Error "String or binary data would be truncated" when Generate List in Ticket System -
Beschreibung
When "Generate List" button is clicked in the Ticket System to get the fields from the SQL Command. The error "String or binary data would be truncated" is reported at the bottom of the Internet Explorer page.

Ursache
The source data could be too large for parsing. -
Lösung
Identify the offending column in the Ticket System, exclude this column from the SQL query if it is not necessary.
An Example:
A Column with nchar(4000) in the Ticket System database can cause this error. -

This issue affects 2.5 but is not seen when using a similar SQL query on 2.4
