HOW TO: Hiding the Tree and Views pane in the Active Roles Web Interface -
Beschreibung
Users can choose to hide (via the arrow) the View and Tree pane in the Active Roles Web Interface and this state will persist using a browser cookie. Clearing cookies and/or browsing data will undo this preference.
It is not possible to preset this preference for all Users, but it is possible to remove this pane from the Active Roles Web Interface completely.

WORKAROUND 1
1) In the Active Roles Console, select View | Mode... | Raw Mode2) Navigate to Configuration/Application Configuration/Web Interface3) Find the Web Interface which you wish to modify and expand Interface Settings/WorkingCopy4) In the edsaWISettings attribute, find the following:<UIPolicy ID="Default" ShowQuickSearch="true" ShowPathToAdObject="false" ShowActionPane="false" ShowTopPanel="false" ShowNavigationPane="true" />5) Set ShowNavigationPane="false" and save the changes6) Log into the Web Interface as an Active Roles Administrator and choose Customization | Reload in order to post the change.
