How does Password Manager (PM) 5.x license count users? (4216321)

Password Manager performs a user count based on enabled users, including a more granular licensing option.

The license type available to purchase is either of these types:

1. Enabled User - this is a legacy license. This option is for customers who had purchased Enabled User licenses in the past and wish to renew. This type of license considers every user in the domain, which includes users, service accounts, etc.
2. Managed Person - There are 2 types of possible users: Internal and External.
   A Managed Person (Internal) is any person managed by the Software
   A Managed External Person is any person that is not an Internal user, such as business partners, service providers, and customers

Note: You can either have a license type of Enabled User or Managed Person but not both. For example, you can have either 1000 Enabled Users licenses or 1000 Managed Person licenses but not both.

For the Managed Person license type you can split the licenses between Internal or External but the total counts towards both. Ie. 200 Internal, 800 External but still 1000 total.

To view your licenses, navigate to the PMAdmin site and select Licensing from the menu.
