Installing / Upgrading Authentication Services via the Management Console for Unix ( MCU ) on Mac OSX 10.15 and up fails with:
"Could not run 'id' as another user. Verify the elevation command, username and password and try again". -
Ursache
One of the tools used in the elevate.sh script runs a 32-bit executable. Mac 10.15 is incompatible with 32-bit executables. -
Lösung
Product Defect ID: 244986 to be fixed in a future release of the MCU.
Workaround:
1) Do not elevate credentials in the MCU. Install as root.
2) Install manually on the individual 10.15 Macs.
